Last summer I had the pleasure of being a part of my cousin Christina’s wedding up in Connecticut. She and her husband Stephen hosted the wedding and reception on their property in Ridgefield, on what unfortunately turned out to be the hottest day of the 2008 summer. Needless to say, I was wee hot in my tuxedo. That said, it was a beautiful affair and their home turned out to be a perfect setting for the affair. The service was on their lawn, looking out over the pond, and then the reception was up by the house under a big tent.
I performed a bit of magic after the cocktail hour, featuring the newlyweds. For the finale, a previously selected card was revealed to be printed in the day’s local newspaper, which had just been magically restored.
Congratulations once again to Christina & Stephen…
